Allison and Nails!

After Allison's bath one night I thought it would be really cute to paint her nails. First it was going to just be her toes but then she decided that she wanted her finger nails to match her toes so we did her fingers and toes. It was really cute! She loved it! I will say that it was very difficult to keep her from moving because she was constantly wanting to look down or touch her nails. So I ended up enlisting Daddy's help... Mommy would paint one hand and Daddy would hold Allison's hand and blow on it until it was dry. We did this for other hand as well as her feet because she just wouldn't stay still...

ELMO!!!

Allison LOVES Elmo! It all started when my cousin Nick bought Tickle Me Elmo for Allison's first birthday! At first Allison was TERRIFIED of the Elmo but grew to think that he was really funny looking. Well she now has three Elmo dolls and they are usually always all together! It's just really cute to see how much she loves her Elmo dolls!

Kyle and I are super excited to announce that we are having a GIRL! I know Kyle really wanted to have a boy but he is excited to have another little girl! I'm just super excited that Allison will have someone to play barbies with! As a child I always wanted a sister to play with but no I got Eric.... I told my mom to put him back because I wanted a sister! I did finally get my sister and I love her to death! She is so much fun! I'm just sad that I didn't get much time to really grow up with her! So I'm super excited that Allison will have a little sister!

The ultrasound lady said that she is super active and loves to move and play with her hands and feet! It was really cute watching her move around and seeing her hands and feet interact!

I'M SOOO EXCITED!!!!

I JUST LOVE ALLISON!!!

I just really felt like posting about Allison! She is just too cute! Now that Kyle and I are expecting we have been trying to explain to Allison about mommy having a baby in her tummy and that she is going to be a big sister! At first she didn't get it at all! After a few more talks about it she now knows that there is a baby in mommy's tummy and that she loves the baby! She loves to rub my tummy to say hello to the baby! She also loves to give it kisses! She is just too cute! I know that she is going to be an awesome big sister! Maybe a little too smothering but what kid isn't at that age! But this all came up because I was giving Allison a bath and she got some water on the floor so I got a small towel to wipe it up and Allison decided that she wanted the towel in the tub with her so she pulled it in and I asked what she was doing and she said mommy baby. I holding baby. She was pretending that the towel was the baby and she was holding it in her arms. I just thought that this was so cute that I just had to share!

BOY or GIRL???

I have one week to wait until we find out what Kyle and I are having! If you didn't know Kyle is really looking forward to having a little boy! I really wanted to have our first a little boy but were blessed with Little Allison! And what a blessing she is! I really don't have a preference of what the baby is! Part of me wants to have a little boy so Kyle can have someone to play with since Allison is such a Mommy's girl! The other part of me wants a girl so that Allison has another girl around the house to play with! Either way I'm just so excited and can't wait to find out! I have had many people ask what I think I might be having and I don't dare guess! This pregnancy has been so weird and different that I don't know what to make of it! I'm currently 18 weeks today and everyone keeps telling me that I'm not showing at all! I just remember being pregnant with Allison around Christmas time and going to a ward Christmas party and wearing a larger jacket so it would cover my belly! I don't think I was even 18 weeks at that point since Allison was due towards the end of May/first of June and this baby is due at the beginning of May and I had a belly! OH WELL!! I'm just so excited to see the ultra sound and finding out what this baby is! Boy? Girl? Any guesses?? We will see on the 16th!
