Here we go again... Here's a fast update of pretty much just pictures starting with Halloween and going backwards (sorry I didn't want to move the pictures around)...Troy's first halloween he dressed up as a teddy bear and stayed in the entire night because the poor boy was SICK!Allison in her school parade of costumes

My parents came up the weekend of Halloween and we had tons of fun. We went on the Heber Creeper and did the haunted train which was interesting to say the least but fun to spend time together. The following day we set out for the perfect pumpkins.

While Grandma Ellsworth was up visiting us the girls really wanted to do some crafts and so Grandma Ellsworth took the girls out to the craft store and ended up getting a bunch of fun crafts. They made Easter chocolate suckers (which I didn't get a picture of). They also made flower pots and a stepping stone.
Grandma Ellsworth really loved the flower pots that the girls made their great grandparents that she wanted one for herself.

This past Easter we were able to have my mom here to celebrate it with us. It was a lot of fun having her here and helping with Troy and the girls as well as everything else!

The day after we got home we took Troy in to get his Bili rubin tests done. After we got done with the blood tests we ended up going out to get some newborn clothes as we didn't have enough for him. While there I got a call from our doctors office stating that Troy's bili levels were really high and that he would need to be placed under the lights. They instructed us to go home and wait for the hospital to bring a bili bed and bili blanket for him. The doctors office told us that Troy needed to stay under the lights 24/7 in order for his bili level to come down. If it didn't go down they said that they would need to hospitalize him.. I've never had a baby with such high bili levels that honestly it scared me a bit so we rushed home and did everything the doctors office instructed. He stayed in the bili bed and bili blanket from Thursday to Monday. We tested him on Tuesday and said that it was going down a bit and by Monday they said that it had gone down to a 9.5 and as long as it was under a 10 we could take him off the lights.. I hated the lights.. it's so sad not to be able to hold your baby and snuggle with him but I'm very grateful that it was only for those few days.

Troy and I came home Tuesday April 12 right around 1:00 Pm. Kyle came to pick us up from the hospital and bring us home! The girls were at home with Grandma Kelley. When we got to the house the girls came running out to greet us. Allison brought us inside to show us all the gifts and fun things they've been up to the past few days with Grandma.

So I was having some issues with blogger and not being able to post my blog posts so Kyle fixed a few things and used this as the "test" post... I was suppose to delete it but forgot and this posting has probably gotten more comments on it than anything else I've done.. haha

Introducing Baby Kelley

Sunday morning at 4 Am I woke up with contractions. Around 6 Am I woke Kyle up letting him know that I was having contractions and I needed him to start timing them. After about 20 minutes of timing them we found out that they were every 3 to 5 minutes apart so we got up and texted some friends to see who could come over and watch the girls while we went to the hospital. Our friends Mark and Kjerstie were the first to respond and they were at the house by 7sh. Kyle and I took off to the hospital sometime around 7:30 Am and ended up checking into the hospital. They hooked me up to all the monitors and found out that I was in fact in Labor but was only dilated 3 cm. After an hour no progress so they got me up to walk the halls for about an hour. After an hour of walking the halls I only dilated 1 cm so they ended up telling me to go home and walk up and down my stairs.. I WAS NOT HAPPY!!! I didn't want to be one of those girls that jumped the gun and ended up getting released due to false labor.. good thing was I was actually in labor but just wasn't dilating as quickly as they wanted. So we ended up going home around 11 Am. I was so tired of walking the halls at the hospital that I came home sat down on the couch and passed out for about two hours. Then woke up and decided it was time to walk the stairs. After I had taken all the boxes of girl clothes down to the basement and brought the baby bassinet up to our bedroom and other little baby things upstairs I decided it was time to sit down. After a few hours of walking and sitting around 6 PM I decided that the contractions were just getting to the point where I couldn't bear it.. So Kyle and I packed everything back up and headed back to the hospital. We got back to the hospital around 6:30. It was really funny going back because the front desk lady as well as the nurses from the morning/day shift were just leaving and they all made sure to come say hello. The only one that was still on from that morning was the on call doctor and she made sure to come in and stay with me. They took me to my room checked my dilation to see that I was now at 6 cm so they decided it was time to get me my epidural. The anesthesiologist came right in and hooked me up. After I got hooked up they waited 15 minutes and decided that it was time to break my water since they had just called my doctor to come for the delivery. They popped my water at 7:15 and baby Kelley entered the world at 7:35 PM on Sunday April 10, 2011. The labor portion on this pregnancy was a lot worse considering I had to do a majority of it at home but the delivery was probably the fastest and easiest I've ever had. It wasn't until Monday evening that Kyle and I finally picked the perfect name for our little boy. TROY ALLAN KELLEY!!!

April 3rd is my cousin Nick's birthday and since the 3rd was on a Sunday this year we celebrated with Nick on the 2nd and the 3rd. Saturday the 2nd after the priesthood session of conference we met up with Nick and all his friends at the Provo Beach Resort for the guys to all go surfing. It was a lot of fun watching the guys. I think it would have been cool to try out but being eight months pregnant I didn't think it was a wise idea... So I ended up being the official photographer of the evening. Okay I'm looking for your opinion's here...

I'm starting to think it's time to start potty training with Abbigail.. here's a few reason's why:

1. She loves wearing Allison's underwear.. She will find Allison's underwear in her drawer or in the clean clothes on the couch and put them on.
2. Ever since she turned 1 she likes to sit on the toilet and "try" to go on the toilet and she also likes to wipe herself.. She's gone a few times on the toilet
3. She's now to the point where she's starting to take off her own diaper after she's wet... Thank goodness she hasn't done it with the other...

So what do you think? She'll be 2 in May... Do you think she's ready or do you think it's still a little to early..

BYU BASKETBALL

As most of you know we are HUGE BYU fans... I don't think we ever miss a game (football or basketball)... We normally watch all the games from the comfort of our own home but this past week our neighbor who happens to be the BYU basketball coach gave us 4 tickets to the BYU vs. CSU game... THANK YOU DAVE!!!! I loved going to the game... I've gone to a few games in the past but they're just the $5 tickets and so we are always sitting with the students on the benches... Don't get me wrong it was still fun to go those times but being pregnant it's not fun sitting on the benches and the students stand the ENTIRE game so it made it a little difficult at times to see so again THANK YOU DAVE!!!! We were able to sit just 8 rows up behind the team and in the chairs (YAY)... It was so much fun and I could actually see the entire game... I loved it...

This year Kyle turned 29 years old!!! Crazy to think that next year he'll be 30.... This year was a very nice and relaxing birthday for Kyle (at least I think so)... Usually for birthday's we do a big birthday party or dinner or something huge to celebrate.. this year Kyle made a request to just keep it small and not do a party so I respected his wish and didn't do a surprise party or invite anyone over... It was just Kyle and his girls at home relaxing.. Since his birthday was on a Sunday we got up went to church then came home and just let Kyle sleep the rest of the day...

Kyle's birthday cake... (better of the best cake or better than sex cake) he made a special request to have this cake and I'm so glad he did because I usually make him an ice cream cake and this was so much easier for me to make so THANK YOU KYLE!!!!

BABY BOY KELLEY

This was from our last ultrasound with the specialist in January...

Okay so I've noticed that I really haven't blogged much about being pregnant.. I went back and I think the last time I blogged about it was like in November or December when things were crazy and they didn't know what was going on... well as most of you know I've had a blood clot and so I've been having to go see my doctor as well as a specialist at the hospital. I go in to see my doctor each month to do the normal check ups and then each month I have to go in to see the specialist. The specialist will do an ultrasound and will take measurements to see how the babies growth is coming along just to make sure that things are going well with him. Then they will measure my clot to see if there's been any progress with that. In December there was not much progress and so they kept me down. In January we went back in and they noticed that the clot had shrunk a bit and so they gave me the green light to start moving about a bit more and getting back to my daily activities. As for me I've been feeling well throughout the entire pregnancy. I did have my usual nausea the 1st trimester but not nearly as bad as it was when I was pregnant with the girls... It was just a different kind of nausea... smells did not bother me as much as they did while pregnant with the girls. So minus the whole blood clot I think it's been a pretty good pregnancy. I'm now 8 months along and now to the point where I see my doctor every other week so we're getting closer... I also go in tomorrow to see the specialist so we'll have to see what they have to say...

I'm very excited to be expecting our first little boy!!! I'm also very nervous as I've never raised a boy and I'm just use to everything girl... but even with that I'm super excited for him to be here and I just can't wait to hold him in my arms... As for his name we're still not 100% sure of a name. We do have a few in mind but we will not be telling anyone any time soon!!! You will all just have to wait until he arrives...

I just can't wait any longer can't it be April already????

Changes

A year or so ago Allison decided to help mom and dad clean the house by getting a bottle of tilex bleach out and bleach the floors... She ended up bleaching the stairs, Abbigails bedroom, furniture and clothing as well as in the hallways. Well we ended up calling our insurance company to see what we could do and they ended up covering the cost of replacing the flooring throughout the house. Then about six months ago we found out that our kitchen doors were leaking and ended up damaging our wood floors so again we called the insurance company and found out that they would cover the cost of refinishing our wood floor. So with this all in mind we really needed to make the change and replace the flooring. Kyle and I looked into a lot of different options but the one that made the most sense was to rip out all our carpet on the main floor and replace it with wood flooring. We did end up leaving the carpet down in the living room but that to will be getting a face lift within the next year. Kyle and I moved a majority of the smaller items as I just couldn't lift the heavy items at 7 month pregnant. So we had a ton of family and friends come to help Kyle move the rest of the furniture as well as rip out the carpet and pad. It took the flooring guy about two days to lay all the new wood and then another day or so to sand it all before we started to stain it. Once they started staining the floors we had to move out and live in a hotel for about four or five days while the house aired out. Below are some pictures of the whole process...

Big Bed

The past few month's Allison's been asking us if Abbigail could sleep with her in her room.. We kept telling Allison no but about a month or two ago I finally decided that it was time to get Abbigail out of the crib and into a big bed... I went down and pulled it out of storage and put it together... After I put it together I called Allison and Abbigail up to Allison's room to take a look at Abbigail's new bed. Abbigail was so excited she went and grabbed all her blankets and stuffed animals and started piling them onto her new bed. I ended up going down stairs to talk to Kyle and told him to go check out Abbigail's new bed when he came up stairs just a few minutes later this is what he found: She was fast asleep!!!! I was so excited.. It did take her a few days to get use to the idea of a big bed and having to actually stay in it. But she's now been sleeping in her big bed for the past two months. She will wake up early in the morning and come crawl into bed with Kyle and I but at least she's sleeping the majority of the night in HER bed... I have also now put all of Abbigail's things in Allison's room so the girls now share a bedroom. Allison is very excited to be sharing a room with her little sister. It's a lot of fun watching the girls grow together and get a long so well. It's also very cute because some mornings we will wake up and find Abbigail sleeping with Allison in her bed.. Very cute!

I really am the luckiest mom out there to have these two little cuties as my daughter's. I love them so much and like I said before I'm truly lucky to be their mother!

Allison has grown up way too fast! She will be five in May (where has the time gone)!!!!! I know that she's only four but she acts like she's sixteen... She's just full of personality.... She's my little miss independent who wants to do everything on her own without mom's or dad's help! She's the best little singer and dancer! She's an amazing big sister to Abbigail and is always watching out for her little sister. She loves to socialize and just have fun with other little kids! She loves going to preschool and loves to learn new things. She loves reading (or being read to). She loves the color pink and everything princess!

Abbigail on the other hand is my little one! She's going to be two in May and is as tiny as can be! She like her sister is also full of personality but is also very shy. Abbigail always takes time to get to know people before she will fully open up. Abbigail is all girl! She loves my little pony, baby dolls and Tinkerbell. Abbigail is Allison's little shadow! She loves her big sister and is always wanting to be with Allison and doing exactly what Allison is doing.

I absolutely love my two little girls!!!

Happy New Years 2011

We had a ton of fun celebrating the New Year. We had Loren Marshall family and Clayton Romberg family over... All the kids played up in the toy room, watched How to Train Your Dragon then Abbigail, Zack and Lyla went down to bed while Allison and Noah played into 2011 in the toy room... The adults played games all night and started 2011 off with a Dancing game on the Kinect... Here's some pictures... Sonya, Loren, Me, Kyle, Kristie and Clayton in 2010...

This year with us being out home we did a ton of Skyping... The reason why we were up by 8 am was to prepare for my brother's call. He is currently serving an LDS mission in Iceland and his favorite person to talk to is Allison... So he made sure to give her a call... It was really good seeing him and talking with him for a little bit.. He comes home sometime in May or June this year! (can't wait)

After talking with my brother we Skyped with Kyle's parents and opened up all our gifts in front of them. Here's Kyle opening up one of his gifts from his parents.

After opening gifts with Grandma and Grandpa Kelley we called up Grandma and Grandpa Ellsworth and opened all our gifts in front of them. After we opened up all the gifts with them we Skyped with my Ahma (Grandma) and Aunt Joy and opened up the gifts they got us as well. So as you can tell we did a TON of Skyping which made opening gifts a long processes but it was fun being able to share the time with all of our family members. Thank you everyone for all the fun gifts..

Christmas Eve

Christmas eve usually consists of the Kelley tradition of going to celebrate Christmas with Great Grandma Kelley. I was honestly really sad about not being able to do this tradition this past year but Kyle's cousin Loren was nice enough to invite us to join his family for Christmas eve. So thank you Loren and Sonya we had a lot of fun!
We started the night with an Ellsworth tradition of opening 1 gift and that gift is ALWAYS pajamas. Here are the girls with their Christmas eve gifts.

BYU Basketball

Now that BYU Football season is over it's now time for BYU Basketball... Kyle tries not to miss a single BYU basketball game... for example the team was down in Texas for a tournament and it wasn't being aired on the regular channels so Kyle called and ordered the channel so he could watch all the games.. now that the team is back home they played two games at the Marriott center that were not being aired on t.v. so Kyle bought tickets and went to both games.. The girls and I went to the first game with him but skipped the second as Allison and Abbigail were both down for naps... Allison was NOT happy that daddy didn't wake her up to go... So Kyle owes her and will need to take her to another home game...

Let it Snow

The week before Christmas while Grandma and Grandpa Kelley were still in town we woke up to all this beautiful white snow...

Allison has always wanted to make a snowman but all of our snow storms just didn't bring enough snow or the snow that did fall was always so wet the we could never make one.. With this Christmas being a last minute stay at home celebration we had to do a majority of our shopping online... but Grandma and Grandpa Kelley were nice enough to come up the week of Christmas and visit with us as well as drop off ALL our gifts from both sides of the family... Oh Christmas Tree....

This year would be our first year spending at home in Utah. Our original plans were to go down to California to spend Christmas with all our extended family but do to the pregnancy problems the doctors put a strict order for me to stay close to home... With this in mind one of my mom's biggest traditions for Christmas is going out Christmas tree shopping and picking that perfect tree... So we went on our search for the perfect tree... We ended up making our first stop up in Orem and I saw the most beautiful tree but couldn't just settle on the first tree at the first lot so we went around a bit more to find another very pretty tree at another lot but I just couldn't get first tree out of my mind so we went back to the first lot and looked at that first tree for a second time... I had them pull it out and put it on a stand so I could actually see the entire tree and as they were standing it up on the stand I couldn't help but get teary eyed... I know I'm super lame... but it really was MY perfect tree so we got it and brought it home... Later that night we went out to get lights and some new NONBREAKABLE ornaments...
The next morning my dad, brother and sister were scheduled to take off but the girls insisted that we decorate the tree before they left so we did and it was tons of fun and the tree turned out beautiful...

I hate blogging and not posting any pictures.. I rather post pictures to show you what we have been up to rather than write what we have been up to but since I don't really have any pictures I'm going to try to make this short...

Kyle and I are expecting baby # 3 sometime end of April... We are very excited as we are expecting our first little boy! Kyle and I found out that we were expecting sometime end of August and I thought it would be fun not to say anything until we found out the gender... Around my 15 week mark I just had a feeling that we needed to give our parents a clue so a week later Kyle and I thought of a cute idea to announce it... We went out and bought a baby pumpkin (since it was Halloween) and added it to the rest of the pumpkins and took a picture and posted it for friends and family... I was 16 weeks along at the time of announcing we were expecting... One week after announcing we were expecting I got a phone call from my parents stating that my Ahba (grandfather) was passing away. He passed away on Sunday November 7th... We made a quick trip down to California to attend his funeral on Tuesday November 9th we got in super early in the morning. After an hour of sleep I woke up to a gushing of fluids... I woke Kyle up so he could help me and we ended up rushing into the Emergency room around 7 am... The good news was that I WAS NOT miscarrying and that the baby looks to be fine... They just couldn't give us an answer as to where and why I was bleeding... So they told us to stay in California until the bleeding had stopped so after two days of waiting we finally decided to make the long trip back home to Utah... The next day we met up with my doctor so we could get an answer from him and he stated that it looked like the baby was low laying and that was the reason for my problems so again they put me on "bed rest" so the baby could adjust a little higher. A few weeks went by and everything again was looking to be going fine and so I started to do my normal daily things to all of a sudden have another incident... So Kyle and I went in to see the doctors again and they sent me in to labor and delivery so we could see a specialist in their ultrasound department. I was 19 weeks along at this point. They took me in and did a could different ultrasounds to see the baby and see if they could figure out the source of my problems... After the last ultrasound they found the source of the problem... I was diagnosed with a clot close to my cervix. The specialist was concerned of what the clot could do to the baby so again they put me on "bed rest" or limited activity for an entire month until they would see me again on December 20th and then they would be able to determine if they would be preparing us for a premature baby... December 20th came and we went in to do the ultrasounds and the specialist came in very pleased... The fluids around the baby looked to be fine and the growth/development of the baby looks to be fine... The only concern was that I had been bleeding that whole month and the clot was still there... smaller but still there so they have scheduled me to come back end of January to do another check up on the babies fluids and development as well as see if the clot had gotten any smaller or disappeared completely.. So until then I'm still on limited activity...

We are just very grateful and excited to have this little boy join our family...

We also want to send our gratitude to all of our family and friends that came to help, sent meals and prayers our way... We have truly been blessed!! Thank you all again for everything you do to help our little family...

Playing Catch up...

Today I'm going to try to play a little catch up... Disney on Ice... I won tickets to Disney on Ice thanks to my friend Jessica! Allison, Kyle and Abbigail at Disney on Ice here in Salt Lake

Disney on Ice characters... I was unable to go to the Disney on Ice but Kyle, Allison, Abbigail and Grandma Kelley were all able to go and enjoy the fun!

Disneyland... In early November my Ahba (Grandfather) passed away and so we went down to California for this funeral. While we were down in California Kyle and Grandma Kelley were able to take the girls to Disneyland. Here's Allison with Snow White.

We have had lots of visitors over the past few months. My parents came to visit for a weekend to look at some houses and have sometime with the girls. One of those days Abbigail happened climb up and find Grandma and Grandpa's computer.

Abbigail... Abbigail... Abbigail.. Where to start with this little one.. She is EVERYWHERE!!! She's so much fun to watch... She loves to dance, talk, snuggle, climb and just get into everything. She absolutely loves Allison and loves to do and copy everything Allison's doing. Abbigail's stats were 17 lbs which is in the 3rd percentile of girls her age so she's tiny... Abbigail's current words as of today are Mommy, Daddy, Abbie, babie, more, please, thank you, no, hello, good-bye, okay, night night and lots more that I honestly can't think of at this time. We absolutely just love this little girl and could not imagine our lives without her.

Allison started her first day of her schooling career on August 31, 2010... She was so excited to start school. We decided to do the Mother Goose or Joy Schooling program with a few families within our area/ward. Allison has four kids in her class including herself. Her first day was at the Weinheimer home.

Allison LOVES school. She can't wait until Tuesday and Thursday's are here! She's in school from 9:30 to 11:45 and just loves every minute of it. She has a different teacher every week and loves all of her teachers. She says that she loves the dogs and animals at the Lotts. She says that the Garretts have the best back yard and toys. She loves story time the best at the Weinheimers and she says that her favorite teacher is me... I think she's a little bias but think it's cute that she has things she likes about each and everyone of her teachers.

Needing a Change

Growing up my mom would never let me color or do anything crazy to my hair so after I graduated high school she started to allow me to change my hair color. So I did just that. I've gone with just simple high lights, really blond and red. Throughout these years I've usually always kept my hair on the shorter side but recently I decided that I wanted to grow it out and go really blond so I did just that:

After a year or so of being a blond and growing it out really long I just really wanted and CHANGE and go back towards my natural look... So I did... well almost.. I went a few shades darker than my natural color but it's close enough..... I really do like the change. I also love the fact that it requires no touch ups...

Pioneer Day

July 24th for Pioneer day Kyle's cousin Loren and Sonya invited us to Lehi to hang out... We sent the older kids with Kyle and Loren to play in the bounce houses while us girls went to look at the shops...

After the foam we all went back to Loren and Sonya's place so relax for a bit... We then decided it would be so much fun to go shooting.. So Kyle and Loren took off to buy ammo while us girls packed up to meet back at our house and head on out...

Camping adventures with the Hiatt's

July 16-18 our family went camping our friends Mitch and Jessica Hiatt up at Currant Creek. Our adventures started on July 15th as our family headed out late that evening to make our way up to Currant Creek... We should have known we were in trouble as soon as we found out we left the directions in the printer tray.. So we used Google Maps and it gave us directions up to Currant Creek using some back dirt roads.. As we got onto the dirt roads everything was fine... nothing to out of the ordinary... then the road became very rocky and bumpy... after we got through he rocks and bumps we ran into a steep hill... went up the hill then this is when the trip went south... as we were driving on the road it quickly turned from a dirt road to a road were only dirt bikes or ATV's would use... (keep in mind were driving our beast of a truck with a boat trailer on back...) I finally told Kyle enough is enough and around 12:30 we decided to call it quits and turn around... One problem.. there was a huge rock in our way and we couldn't get the trailer pass it without hitting.. so Kyle unhooked the trailer as I'm holding it he turns the truck around and Kyle and I had to turn the trailer around on the super small road with a hill going up and a hill going down on the other side... we finally got the boat turned around after 20 to 30 minutes or so... We hooked the boat back on and headed our way back to the steep hill.. Kyle didn't feel comfortable as our breaks were starting to wear out so we got out of the car and started looking around to find another way... there was no other way... so I stayed out of the car holding a flash light and guided Kyle down the mountain.. We finally got back to the main road about 1:00 AM and searched for another way to Currant Creek... we did end up finding the main road to Currant Creek. We got to the campsite at around 3:30 AM and decided to just sleep in the car until light... Well around 6 or 7 in the morning Kyle and I had enough of "sleeping" so we got up and put together our campsite... After we got the campsite set up we had breakfast then took a nap then had lunch and went out on the boat to do some "catching" (thanks Josh)... As we were out successfully "catching" Mitch and Jessica arrived and set up their camp... Here are some pictures of our trip...

Discovery...

When my Mom and Karly were in town they took us all to the discovery at the Gateway...

This was on the top floor where they had tons of magnets and other fun things for the kids to play with.
outside they had a helicopter for the kids to sit in and talk to the people in the tower

Also on the top floor they had the KSL TV station set up for everyone to sit down and read the teleprompter.. this was not easy!

This was Abbigails favorite part of the discovery.. she played with this for over half an hour... she loved it!

While my mom was in town she took us girls to the Sandy Aquarium... It was a ton of fun! I really enjoyed watching the girls... My mom ended up taking all the pictures so I will have to get those from her.. Allison loved everything!!!! Abbigail LOVED the penguins!

In early June my mom was in town and we ended up going up to Gardner's Village in West Jordan and ended up stopping by one of my favorite shops PineNeedles. I love this little quilt shop they have the cutest fabrics and the best part is they have quilt kits... I LOVE IT!!! My mom ended up buying me the kit for this quilt...

Allison turned 4 on May 23, 2010.

Allison woke up early that morning to get her first present of the day.

Allison's favorite dish is Macaroni and Cheese so Kyle decided that he wanted to do a Macaroni dinner. I stayed up until 4 Am cooking all the dishes so they would be ready for the next day.

About 20 minutes later we checked on Allison to find her CRASHED on the table with lollipop stuck to her face. This kid had a blast. She loved all her gifts and loved playing with all her friends and cousins.

Thank you all for making this day a special one for Allison!

Allison's dance class ended the first week of May. She had her dance recital up on the BYU campus in the large dance hall. She did AMAZING!

After her dance recital she found two special guests waiting for her outside with a flower and chalk. My Ahma (grandma) and Aunt Joy were in town from California and were able to watch Allison in her first dance recital.

Allison had a tea party this past Thursday! She had so much fun! We invited four other little girls and all but one showed. We had two sleeping beauties (Allison and Megan) one Cinderella (Autumn) one flower princess (Prairie) and one little mermaid (Abbigail). The girls had pink lemonade as their tea as well as sandwiches, cheesecakes, pies, fresh fruit and cookies. The girls spent about a half an hour doing the tea party then decided it was time to just play... All in all it was a success. We will have to do it again soon!

Allison gives her first talk

This past Sunday Allison gave her first talk! She was asked to give the talk for primary. She was asked to speak on how Joseph Smith restored the Gospel. Allison and her daddy sat down and ready the story of Joesph Smith. Then Kyle asked Allison about the story and this is how she ended up writing her own talk. During primary she did very well giving her talk. Her daddy went up to help but she did most of it all by memory. Kyle and I are so proud of our little girl!

A few weeks back Allison was out driving her jeep around the block when her jeep started to die I decided to put Abbie in the jeep with her to see how Allison and Abbie would do. Abbigail LOVED the car and Allison LOVED driving her sister around. Unfortunately at the time I did not have my camera on me so I didn't get any pictures of it. The other day it was really nice and Allison really wanted to go outside and ride her jeep so I agreed and quickly grabbed the camera so I could take some pictures this time. Easter 2010

Easter 2010 was spent at home with my parents and sister who came to visit from California. This year my parents were not going to be able to make the trip but ended up surprising us late Thursday night. Friday it was my cousin's birthday and he invited us all go to go carting. The remaining part of the day was spent up in the Salt Lake area. The next day was spent going around and getting some last minute Easter things. Easter morning the girls woke up got dressed in their Easter dresses and came down to find their baskets... Abbigails basket was in the living room for her to find and Allison's was in the formal dinning room. Allison did a few circle around the main floor of the house and finally found her basket after a few minutes of searching. My sister's basket was down in the basement. This year the Easter bunny hid two more baskets one for Kyle and I and the other for my mom and dad. The Easter bunny was a little too easy with hiding Grandma and Grandpa's basket. It was in our front room sitting on the bench for all to see. Our basket on the the other hand was a little harder to find. Allison ended up finding our basket in the basement theater room under the chair and under some blankets... After we found our baskets we watched conference. After the first session we all went Easter egg hunting. Allison ended up with the majority of the eggs and ALL the money eggs... After the second session of conference we had our Easter dinner. It was a great day of just hanging out at the house and spending time with family. Monday we went around shopping. Tuesday my parents had to head back to California. It was a very nice visit with my family. I'm glad that they were able to come.

The past few months

Oh my goodness I can't believe it's already April... The past few months have seriously just flown by.. Sorry I haven't been keeping up on my blogging so here's an update on what we have been doing for the past few months...

Kyle has been super busy working. He has recently picked up several new clients looking to buy and sell homes. Last month he helped one of his owners sell their rental property. Currently he is working with one of his tenants and they're in the closing process of buying a home. He's also currently working with another client that are looking to buy a home up North and so he's been busy traveling up to the Salt Lake area. Kyle has also been able to get a few mornings out on the stream. I think he's already gone a dozen times or more already this year. Kyle is also currently working on his fishing boat (shh... don't tell his dad) and can I tell you it's looking GOOD! He has already replaced most of the wood on the benches and is now looking at some new seating options to make it a little more comfy for little ones. I think after it's all done it will look brand new!

I have been busy as usual at home with the kids and working. It is currently renting season and so I have been crazy busy with apartment showings and contract signings. I think if I give it one more month I will be all sold out for the year! YAY!!! I have also been working a quite a few remodel jobs with the apartments and those are looking awesome! I have also been busy with the girls. Can I just say I have my hands full with these two little ones....

Allison has been having so much fun in her dance class these past few months. Unfortunately a week ago Allison came down with Hands, Foot and Mouth which is a virus that looks like chicken pox a bit but it's just a rash that's on her hands and feet (sometimes the mouth but not in Allison's case). She is just now getting rid of the rash and is excited about being able to go out and play with friends again. Allison has also gotten really interested in plants. A few weeks ago her primary teacher gave her some sunflower seeds and she thought they were for planting so she started going around and planting them in our front yard and our neighbors yards too... I quickly stopped her from doing this and we ended up going out and getting little plants for her to grow inside for now. She has 2 pumpkin plants and a sunflower plant that are all starting to grow now. Last week when the weather was nice out Allison was able to go out and ride her jeep around the block a few times. She then decided it was time for her to have a passenger and so Abbigail got strapped into the jeep with her and off they went around the block together. I was a little worried that Abbigail was not going to like it but she LOVED IT!!! I'm just sad I didn't get any pictures or video of it. So next time the weather allows us to we will try it again... Allison has also been able to go out and fly her kite these past few days as it's been really windy and perfect for kite flying. She has a little problem with running the kite right into the tree's but other than that she's pretty good.

Abbigail... Well holy cow has this little girl just taken off.. I can't believe that April 12 she is going to be 11 months. This past month she has now learned to WALK!!! She loves the fact that she can now stand up and take steps! She does pretty well but still needs to work on her balance a bit. She is now learning how to talk and not scream... She is now starting to warm up to other people! She loves to talk on the phone and make funny little faces and noises. She loves to laugh and be tickled. She absolutely adores Allison. Just this past week she has started to sleep in her crib in her bedroom all night (well most of it)... She is just growing up way to fast!

MY CAR...

My parents bought me my first car a 2003 Honda Accord. Once I got married my parents gave me the title. THANK YOU BY THE WAY... I drove it all the time up until I had Abbigail. Once I had Abbigail it because a little too difficult to put two car seats in the car and do all my other little tasks that I needed to do for work and so on. So I started driving a larger car and the Honda started sitting in the driveway. We would us it here and there if people were visiting or if one of our other cars were in the shop. But after awhile of it just sitting in the drive way Kyle started talking to me about selling it so that way it could be used... So after a few months of talking about it Kyle put it up for sale on KSL. We had several calls the morning we listed it and one girl didn't want to miss out on it so she drove down from Northern Utah to test it out. She fell in LOVE with my car... She couldn't take it that night so she set up a time to come back the next day with her parents to pick it up. We meet her up at the bank and they did all the paperwork and off went my car! I was so sad to see it go so Kyle was the one who did everything as I sat in the car with the girls just sulking...

The many sides of Abbigail Ann

On Tuesday Abbigail went in for her 9 month check up with the Doctor. He said that she looks as cute as a button. She's a little over 16 lbs and is in the 14% of the girls her age. She's right around 27 inches long and is in the 18% and her head circumference was in the 37%. She has a little infection that will clear itself up in a few days. They checked her iron levels and those were fine. All in all she's very healthy and happy he says!

Here's a little more about Abbigail. She's a Mommy's GIRL... She is usually always happy as long as mom is around otherwise WATCH OUT!!! She LOVES to cuddle. She loves to suck her thumb's and will not take a Binky or bottle. She learned how to roll over when she was about 3 to 4 months. At about 5 to 6 months she was sitting up on her own and on her 7th month birthday she crawled to her sister Allison. At 8 months she learned how to stand up with no help as well as she learned how to crawl up the stairs. And now at 9 months she's EVERYWHERE!!! There is no where that this child can't go! She eats absolutely everything insight! She prefers finger foods so that she can feed herself. AND she HATES getting dressed!

I Love this little girls facial expressions, noises and her little attitude! She's just another little pistol around the Kelley household. She's a baby who knows what she wants and when she wants it and will not stop until she gets it! We sure do love our little Abbigail. She keeps Kyle and I on our toes!

Bowling with the Ellsworth's

A few weeks ago my family came up to visit. While they were here we went around Provo and looked at some homes! We found one that was absolutely beautiful the only bad thing was the land. There was absolutely no backyard. Other than that we pretty much used the weekend to relax, bbq, and play lots of games. It was a ton of fun having them here. New Year's we always spend at home. This year we spent the New Years with some friends that live in the area. We had dinner and dessert while singing Karaoke and just playing games. It was just and nice relaxing evening. Happy NEW YEARS... (I know it's a little late!)

Christmas...

Christmas morning usually always starts the same for us the only thing that changes would be the time that we get up... As kids we were usually always up by 4 am just to see what Santa had brought... thank goodness my girls are still a little young so we now get up around 7 am to go down and see what Santa brings us. This year Allison got a doll house with ALL the room accessories and all the dolls, she also got a stocking full of fun candies and other little items... Abbigail got one of those play disk and fun little toys in her stocking... Santa was good to Kyle and I as well and left us a bunch of cash! After admiring our gifts from Santa we started opening our gifts under the tree. Around 9 am we stopped opening gifts to talk to my younger brother Eric who is currently serving a mission in Iceland (Copenhagen, Denmark) we talked to him using Skype for about 45 minutes. For those of you who know Eric he's still his happy self! He's gained a bit of weight but is looking very healthy and happy! After talking with him and showing Abbigail off to him (he left on his mission the day after Abbigail was born)we started opening gifts again. After opening all our gifts at my parents house we get dressed and head up to my Ahma's and Ahba's house for our traditional breakfast. This year was a lot different at Ahma's and Ahba's house. This year was the first year for me that my Ahba hasn't been there and so it did have a different feel. I sure do love and miss my Ahba! But it was sooooo nice to see my Ahma and Aunt Joy! After opening some gifts and having breakfast we headed back to my parents house to get our things together to head to Kyle's parents to celebrate with his family. After everyone arrives we have Christmas dinner. After dinner we all gather together to open all our Christmas gifts. After opening all the gifts we usually (only when there's a new addition to the family that year) have the Christmas fish show up. Since this was Abbigails first Christmas it's Kelley tradition for the Christmas fish to give them their first fishing pole! Abbigail loved the Christmas fish and loved her pole even more! Then we packed up and went back to my parents house to finish the night! Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Christmas Eve with the Kelley's

Christmas Eve in the past we have always all meet at Grandma Mary's (Kyle's Grandma's house). This year we had Christmas Eve at the in-laws... It was great! I loved the fact that it was only a five minute drive from where we were staying! Once everyone arrived (extended family and all) we had our Christmas Eve dinner, the nativity scene was played out by all the children and guys in the family. After the nativity was over Grandma Mary opened all her gifts from everyone then all the little kids opened their gifts from Grandma Mary. After all the was picked up and moved out of the way it was the adults turn to have the gift exchange... This year Kyle ended up with a Dominoes game set (that we brought) and I ended up with two movies and a desperate housewives game.. After the game we had dessert and off we went back home... When we got home we unpacked all the fun gifts the girls got and opened up our family tradition of Christmas Pajamas! Abbigail got a cute pair of pajamas (couldn't find any cute Christmas PJ's), Allison got 2 Dora the Explorer night gowns, Kyle a pair of basketball short and I got a pair of PJ's for Victoria's Secret. We put on our new pajamas and went off to bed so SANTA CAN COME!!!

Gingerbread Houses

This year was the first year that Allison was able to make a gingerbread house. She didn't just make one this year she made TWO... The first gingerbread house she made was for the Activity Day girls. Our activity with them was to make gingerbread houses before the Christmas break and whatever the girls are doing Allison is usually right there with them. This house was just the usually graham cracker house and using a bunch for frosting and random candies. It turned out really cute and really yummy... Sad thing was I didn't get a picture of this graham cracker house... The second gingerbread house she made was while we were down in California at Grandma Ellsworth's house. Grandma Ellsworth bought Allison one of those packaged assemble yourself Gingerbread houses and it turned out to be a lot of fun! Allison like all little kids of course had fun at first putting it together but as soon as that candy came out she stopped building and started eating! Abbigail update

I know it's been a while since I last updated anyone about our little Abbigail.. Well she is still here and growing like CRAZY!!! She is 7 months old and will be 8 months on January 12, 2010 (where does the time go?) Well just to let you know she was rolling over around 3 to 4 months old then she learned how to sit up all on her own around 5 to 6 months also around that time she got her two bottom teeth in and LOVES to chew on EVERYTHING!!! Exactly on her 7 month birthday she crawled! It was an awesome morning. Kyle and I were in bed with Abbigail and Allison came to snuggle in. While Allison as at the bottom of the bed Abbigail started to move towards Allison. It was so neat to see Abbigail crawling towards her older sister! These two girls love each other so much! She is now crawling all over the place. During the Christmas break she has learned that she can stand.. so she is now pulling herself into the standing position every chance she gets. If she could skip crawling I think she would. She loves to stand up and loves to walk around holding onto things! I have a few videos of her crawling and a few videos of her doing some other really cute things that I just want you all to see how cute our little Abbie Ann is! Hope you enjoy!

For the past few months now Allison has been asking for a girls day... a day to go out and get nails done hair done and so on.. it wasn't exactly a "girls day" but Kyle and I took Allison to get her haircut. She loved it at first and asked to have her hair be like Mommy's hair so we went and got the ends trimmed and cut her a little side bang.. When it was all said and done she wasn't too happy because she didn't come out with Mommy's hair... After asking her what she means by Mommy's hair she said that her hair is not long and brown... How cute is that! I told her that she has Allison hair and that she had beautiful blond hair! I love my little girl she is just too cute for her own good!

Parents Day at Dance Class

Allison is currently enrolled in a creative dance class through BYU. They have 4 parent days. The first day of Class, the week before Christmas break, the week after Christmas break and the last day of classes. I LOVE these parent days! This year was pretty awesome in the fact that I was able to celebrate my birthday twice this year... we celebrated on my birthday December 2nd and then another time down in California this past week..

Utah Birthday Celebration:
On December 2nd I turned 24 years old... It was an awesome day! I was able to spend the entire day with my three favorite people in the whole world! Kyle took the day off from work (well almost {Awful tenants}) so we could just go do something I wanted to.. We ended up shopping for (awful tenants) and a little window shopping for me... I have really been wanting a little something bigger for living room couches but didn't end up finding anything so we ended up coming home around 5 to take a little nap and relax before having to meet up with everyone for dinner. We went out to dinner then came home and ended the night with a movie..

California Celebration:
The day again was a nice relaxing day... my sister Karly made me a birthday cake (thank you) later that evening we had my whole family (Dad, Mom, Dale, Karly) then we had my Ahma, Aunt Joy, Mother-in-Law Debra and of course Kyle, Allison and Abbigail... (If I'm forgetting anyone SORRY!!) We watched the BYU football game. My mom made an amazing Christmas dinner (a few days early) then we had birthday cake. I opened my gifts from my Dad, Mom, Dale and Karly. Let's just say this year I'm all about CUPCAKES!!!! I'm so excited. Thank you everyone for all the wonderful gifts!

Happy Thanksgiving

This year was the year of FIRSTS for Thanksgiving! This year we stayed home for Thanksgiving so it was our first Thanksgiving away from all our family. This was also the first year Kyle and I made our own Thanksgiving dinner. Kyle was in charge of smoking the turkey (which was another first) and ham while I was in charge of everything else. It was a lot of fun! It really made me realize how much is put into making a nice Thanksgiving day dinner! It was a GREAT day! I'm thankful for everyone who helped out!
